Rey’s path to tattooing is as unique as his art. Originally from the Philippines, he began his career as a registered nurse specializing in hemodialysis. While his focus was once on reading ECGs and patient care, his true passion for art was reignited during the pandemic in 2021. What began as casual sketches inspired by the anime he loved as a kid, like Dragon Ball, soon evolved into tattooing friends and family. By 2023, Rey had turned that rediscovered passion into a full-fledged career as a professional tattoo artist.

Specializing in black and grey realism, Rey captures lifelike detail and emotion in every piece. His background in healthcare has given him a steady hand and a gentle approach—traits his clients appreciate (and sometimes nap through). Deeply inspired by realism and anime aesthetics, Rey’s work blends precision, creativity, and storytelling. Ever curious and dedicated, he treats tattooing like a lifelong study, channeling the same obsession for learning that once drove him to master ECG interpretation into perfecting his art.

Outside the studio, Rey enjoys basketball and motorbikes, embracing the balance between his artistic passion and personal life. Calm and humble by nature, he connects with clients through good vibes and shared stories.
